RTK Technologies USA, LLC - ANNOUNCES Acquisition of RTK TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED
Daventry, United Kingdom – February 25, 2014 – RTK Technologies USA LLC, a newly created Delaware corporation, announced today that it has acquired the entire interest in RTK Technologies Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales which operates under the ‘doing business as’ name of Revo Developments Ltd, from STaSIS Inc.
Revo CEO, James Leng said of the change "We have enjoyed a very positive relationship with STaSIS Inc during the past two years. Revo as a brand and a business has simply flourished achieving a significant jump in revenues during 2013 and alongside that we have managed to achieve record levels of investment in our business infrastructure. Whilst we have broadened our own product lines and grown the Revo dealer network globally too, perhaps the most gratifying aspect was the collective agreement of respective management teams in concluding that the Revo core market segments and its research and development priorities were best progressed independently of the STaSIS business”.
Established over 10 years ago, the pioneers of “through port” (OBDII) ECU performance software tuning for VAG vehicles, Revo has recently completed a major expansion of its UK headquarters buildings. The additional space provides new engineering and technical service accommodation allowing the establishment of a new dedicated dynamometer cell and enhanced engine development centre. The company intends to support its North and South Americas operation from its purpose built facilities engineering and development centre at the Summit Point raceway campus in West Virginia. Revo USA campus consists of a dynamometer cell, vehicle workshops, clean rooms and office accommodation with the added bonus of adjacency to the three race tracks, the perfect location for its extensive US region testing and development schedule.
Mark Yates, Revo Chief Technical Officer commented, “The change is a positive one for Revo as we can now focus our engineering resources entirely on developing our own product lines, and the technical and sales teams in supporting the Revo global dealer network first and foremost. Working behind the scenes for many months in advance of this separation being formally concluded our team has been completing a series of significant new products, both software and hardware lines, readied for full release during Qtr214, whilst we retain access to legacy STaSIS and Eurojet product lines giving us the best of both worlds”.
Revo operates globally through an established dealer network spread across over 35 countries and 350 locations and is considered by many to be the foremost producer of aftermarket performance tuning products and solutions for VAG vehicles. More recently Revo has received industry pundit recognition for its new range of performance tuning solutions for Ford ST and RS ranges including the very latest 1.6T and 2.0T Ecoboost powered vehicles.
