Considering trading my 2012 V10 Rtronic with 2K miles on a 991TT. Any ideas of what a fair dealer trade-in value would be?
Thanks in advance.

Why? Time for a change?

My thoughts exactly. Perhaps just needing a change or not a fan of the R-tronic. Personally, I would never trade in my R8 V10 for any Porsche save (perhaps) a 991 GT3. But even that would be unlikely since no MT.

Oh and to answer the OP's question, my guess would be $115k.

I love the R8 and the Rtronic, no complaints at all. I just get restless for a change. I go back and forth about keeping the R8 or trading for the 991TT. I was hoping that the R8 is worth 120K.

Might as well try a few different Porsche dealers and see what they offer you on trade. Again, personally would never do it as that car will lose 40-50% of its value in 4 years.

What other options does the car come with?

I was at my local Porsche dealer this afternoon looking at a new 911 turbo S. I have always liked these cars and respected their performance. Having said that....looked at the 911tt, looked at the Caymens and long row of similar looking Porsches, looked back at my R8 and realised change for the sake of change alone is just foolish. My R8 looked unique, exotic, low and wide. Got in, pulled a couple of 8,000 rpm shifts, listened to that naturally aspirated V-10 wind out and decided that my urge was a mistake- never looked back. The $60k difference still in my pocket doesn't hurt either. I just need to learn to relax and enjoy it more often.

60k differenec for a 991TTS? What a rip lol. I wouldn't even think for a second to do that, heck I wouldn't even do it straight across. 911's are a dime a dozen and lack the specialness of cars like the R8 IMHO.

i agree, when we got back in my R8 i told my 16 year old son that I wouldn't do it for even money- msrp on overly optioned and overly priced 911tt-s was $190k!
