Thanks for the research and pointing out the inconsistency, must admit I had mixed something up. I stored this spec sheet of #283 together with the pictures of the car I had visited but they are not the same cars.

I contacted the previous owner of the car I had checked out and he confirmed his was #036, its still in germany. Have corrected my posts, so now #036 and #283 could be added to the list. Sorry for the confusion guys.

Finally got the car back and can post some pics.

So far, three days in, I prefer the R8 over my 991.1 GT3. The gt3 probably is the better track weapon, but I'm there once every few years.

For comfort, sound, and the pure fun of a drop top, loving the R8 GT.

I wish. No, after I bought it I dropped it off at the dealership for a full fluid flush / inspection (left the coolant at 65%), and then it’s been raining. Took about 10 days to get the car back since they had some minor work to do and were waiting on parts.

GT Spyder #078 checking in. Daytona Grey. Just purchasing it from FL and will be heading to Charleston, SC within the next week. 35k miles, slightly modified.

Seriously debating gated manual conversion, but not 100% convinced yet. I’ve owned a 2009 LP560-4 a couple years ago and when I saw this pop up I had to grab it. I think these cars are so undervalued!!

Anyone know any history on this car?

You all have some beautiful cars here! I have to say I think the coupe looks slightly better but looking forward to some top down cruising.
