Your traction control wasn’t detuning your car at 40mph roll race or taking away any timing ........maybe if it was wet you could get some wheels spin but in This video it looked sunny and dry. Also I would like to know what is not stock on the plus car....like someone else said ...besides forced induction of sort...an exhaust and maybe some better flowing Air filters is the only couple things I can think of.🤷🏻‍♂️
Trust me not wasting anything. I can care less if I lost. I don’t go home and cry about it like some people do. Just to make a point his car is NOT Stock period

It’s ok , you proved the point to all the standard spec V10’s out there that even with a tune.... you can’t stay with a 10 +, thank you so very much for your work, it is greatly appreciated👍🏾

I dont own either a base or plus so I dont care one way or another, its just an attempt to educate the majority of the clueless R8 owners how gearing works. Heres a magazine test below, let me know where that shorter 4th gear is helping that plus. The bottom line is that VF tune is not making the power its supposed to and not the shorter 4th gear and carbon ceramics.

Vf tune makes 50 whp, I know that because I have one and verified dyno gains to go with. It's the gearing 100%, there is nothing mystical going on here......

Its a data point, you really think a shorter fourth gear and ceramic brakes would cause a car to get gapped like its short 50+hp? Please I've been doing this a long time from Evos to M3s to GTRs and back again. Again the point here is that VF tune is clearly not doing what its supposed to, even VF states that the base cars they've tuned are faster than a stock plus....

Looks like a car thats down about 70hp to me which is how thats supposed to look.... thats how far the car with an extra 70 hp got gapped so go ahead and explain that phenomena.

Im not backtracking anything, I showed a data point where a magazine test showed a plus was slower. You sent another magazine test, albeit a video, testing the two. The results were as expected. Im asking you to explain why that race looked exactly the same as the video posted here but with the base car with supposedly 70 more hp.

This is like working with animals, let me reiterate the point since clearly you dont seem to understand. No one is arguing a stock plus is faster than a stock base, the argument is that a stock plus walking a "tuned" base that hard because it has a 1% shorter 4th gear. Im not sure how much racing you've done but I can tell you from first hand experience that gap looks like the plus car is making over 50hp more, if you think that has to do with a shorter 4th gear you're a moron. The answer here is that VF tune is trash.
